The Process

Welcome to Uptown Girl Designs! Your experience here will be fun & unique as we know you are excited about receiving a one of a kind personalized card, invitation or announcement. You may have some questions about the proof process and placing an order so this page will give you an outline of what to expect. We also have our FAQ page available to you with even more information and answers to the most common questions. How it works is as simple as 1, 2, 3, 4!


STEP 1: BROWSE
Get comfy, grab a cup o’ joe (or even a nice glass of wine!) and take a look around our studio where you’ll find birth announcements, birthday invitations, holiday greetings, wedding stationary, personal note cards and more! We thrive on fresh designs with a funky & chic feel and we know you will find something you love. Keep in mind if there is something you don’t see in our studio, we will work closely with you to create exactly what you need.

STEP 2: PROOF
When you are ready to place an order for a proof, find a design you would like to order, complete all the information requested on the card sample page and upload your photos. You will have the option to upload up to 3 photos. If you would like to submit more than 3 photos please send them to photos@uptowngirldesigns.com. If you do not have your photos ready to upload just yet please continue to complete the requested information and leave a comment that you will be sending the photos at a later time to us at our photos e-mail address. For more information about submitting photos please view the Photo Submission section of our FAQ page. Once you have completed this section click Order Proof and you will be directed to checkout.

You will receive a link to the e-mail address you provided to review your digital proof within 3 business days of submitting your order. You will have the option of accepting the proof or comment to make changes. We allow for up to 3 edits of your proof at no extra cost to you. Please note that you will incur a $10.00 charge per edit after the allotted 3 edits. We will make all attempts to send you a revised proof as quickly as possible.

Please review our proof schedule for a detailed timeline of when to expect your proof.

Please note we must have received all pertinent information AND photos by 3:00 p.m. EST to be placed in the proof schedule on that day. If the timestamp we receive is 3:01 p.m. EST you will be placed in the next day’s proof schedule.

Also note that during times of high volume the proof schedule may change. You will receive an e-mail to the address provided with a date to expect your proof.

If at any time you feel that your proof time has passed please e-mail us at orders@uptowngirldesigns.com immediately.

We also ask that you please be as detailed as possible when we are going through the proof process. Don’t be shy! The more details, the better! Do you love a certain font or a color scheme? Let us know and will accommodate where we can.

STEP 3: ORDER
Once you are 110% happy with your proof please click Send to Print to go to check out. All orders require a 4-5 business day processing time before being shipped. You will receive an e-mail to the address you have provided once your order has been shipped with a link to your tracking number. STEP 4: MAIL
Licking envelopes isn’t really any fun at all BUT we know that finally seeing your printed card will be very exciting for you! Celebrating a new baby, announcing your engagement, throwing a party or sending a thank you card is a fabulous way to share you life with the world! We hope we can be a little part of that!
